Gene Steratore begins his 10th season in the NFL tonight as he marks the triumphant return of the regular NFL officials. The lockout of the current referees was lifted just before midnight Wednesday, with a tentative collective bargaining agreement.
Steratore’s last game was the AFC divisional playoff between the Broncos and Patriots (see our game coverage here).

Makes sense they send Steratore to the game since he is from the Philadelphia area so it’s an easy trip to Baltimore. I wonder if the other guys are local? If so this could be a made up crew for this week and not his crew for the season.
