2017 Preseason
Jerome Boger leads Hall of Fame game crew
Jerome Boger gets the first assignment of the 2017 preseason.
The 98th season in league history begins Thursday from the place where the seed was first planted — Canton, Ohio.
Football Zebras has confirmed that Jerome Boger will be the referee in the exhibition game between the Cardinals and Cowboys. He will be working with his regular crew, with the exception of back judge Tony Steratore, who is being filled in by Dino Paganelli.
Boger was assigned to the game last year, but it was cancelled due to a field maintenance problem. This will finally be the pro debut of the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, which was built in the same location as the old Fawcett Stadium.
