The officiating crews for the divisional playoff round were announced by the NFL for the games on Jan. 15-16. Full list  is after the jump.

Ravens at Steelers

  • R — #42  Jeff Triplette (15th year, 12th as referee)
  • U — #31 Chad Brown (19th year)
  • HL — #134  Ed Camp (11th year)
  • LJ — #90 Mike Spanier (12th year)
  • FJ — #4 Craig Wrolstad (8th year)
  • SJ — #16 Dave Wyant (20th year)
  • BJ — #126 Don Carey (16th year)
  • Alternates — #51 Carl Cheffers (R),  #108 Gary Arthur (LJ)

Triplette is heading up a crew that consists of three members of Ed Hochuli’s crew (Brown, Wrolstad, and Carey). It would appear that Hochuli and two of his crew members were promoted to a conference championship game.

Head linesman Mark Hittner and line judge Tom Symonette  were on Hochuli’s regular season crew. They are replaced by Ed Camp and Mike Spanier, both from Walt Coleman’s crew.

Side judge Ronald Torbert is also from Hochuli’s crew and is ineligible to officiate in the postseason, as this is his first year officiating at the pro level. Dave Wyant replaces him from Triplette’s crew.

Hochuli’s crew had this same matchup — Ravens at Steelers — in Week 4 of the regular season. Triplette has not been the referee for either team.

Packers at Falcons

  • R — #132 John Parry (11th year, 4th as referee)
  • U — #64 Dan Ferrell (8th year)
  • HL — #74 Derick Bowers (8th year)
  • LJ — #55 Tom Barnes (25th year)
  • FJ — #3 Scott Edwards (12th year)
  • SJ — #7 Keith Washington (3rd year)
  • BJ — #46 Perry Paganelli (13th year)
  • Alternates — #5 John McGrath (HL), #97 Tom Hill (SJ)

Line judge Rusty Baynes was on Parry’s crew during the regular season, but is ineligible for the postseason because this is his first season. Dave Wyant from Jeff Triplette’s crew takes his place.

Parry’s crew was in Atlanta for the Falcons’ regular season finale two weeks ago. They also officiated the Falcons in Week 5 and the Packers in the season opener.

Seahawks at Bears

  • R — #57 Alberto Riverón (7th year, 3rd as referee)
  • U — #70 Scott Dawson (16th year)

  • LJ — #10 Ron Phares (26th year)
  • FJ — #60 Gary Cavaletto (8th year)
  • SJ — #58 Jimmy DeBell (2nd year)
  • BJ — #27 Lee Dyer (8th year)
  • Alternates — #81 Roy Ellison (U), #22 Steve Stelljes (HL)

Cavaletto served as field judge on Tony Corrente’s crew during the regular season. He replaces Steve Zimmer on Riverón’s crew.

DeBell is working in his first season of postseason eligibility. Conversely, Phares is currently the longest tenured active official.

Riverón and his crew officiated this same matchup, Seahawks at Bears, in Week 6. Riverón’s crew also worked a Bears game two weeks ago at the conclusion of the regular season.

Jets  at Patriots

  • LJ — #32 Jeff Bergman (19th year)
  • FJ — #50 Mike Weir (9th year)
  • SJ — #20 Barry Anderson (4th year)
  • BJ — #61 Keith Ferguson (11th year)
  • Alternates — #68 Tom Stephan (LJ), #21 Jeff Lamberth (SJ)

Bergman worked as Jeff Triplette’s line judge during the regular season and replaces Mark Pearlman on this crew. Weir worked as field judge on Clete Blakeman’s crew and is substituting for Jim Quirk, who is in his first season.

Leavy’s crew officiated the Jets in Week 4 and a Patriots home game in Week 6.
