Week 18 referee assignments

Shawn Smith will officiate the battle for the AFC’s #1 seed

Published

on

Shawn Smith will officiate Game 272 between the Ravens and Steelers. The victor will claim the AFC North pennant and the 4th seed in the conference. The loser will be eliminated. This is the first time since 2013 that the final game of the season is to win the division or go home.

Alex Moore is off this week.

In this final week of the regular season, two games will be played on Saturday, and the remaining games will be played on Sunday. Times listed are Eastern.

The matchups are listed below based on their impact on the playoff picture. Potential (or clinched) playoff seeds are shown in superscripted numbers, with zeroes indicating teams that have not clinched a playoff spot. All seeding possibilities and outcomes exclude tie games.

Seeding possibilities were calculated prior to the the Monday night game; the Falcons ability to be a spoiler in a three-way tie for the NFC South is not listed.

All times are Eastern. The 2025 officiating crews are listed here, but note that there may be substitutions from the regular crew personnel each week.

Update: The potential seedings and their impact on the playoff picture have been updated to reflect the Falcons’ win over the Rams on Monday night.
