Why was fumble recovery by Cole Holcomb negated against Atlanta? Was ruled as forward progress was stopped, but fumble was before the whistle (although was announced that fumble was after whistle)
The ruling of forward progress was before the whistle. The whistle does not kill the play, the action of the play does. If the official dropped their whistle on the ground, there may not have been a whistle. There is not always a whistle at the end of every play.
How was that a pass interference on the Jets?
