In PHI DAL there was another offensive offsides call on a PHI tush push called on the left guard. TV replay showed the view down the line, and unless the left guard took off dark long sleeves between plays, it was actually the center’s non-snapping hand on the ground that was even with the ball. This would have been legal, right? The center can have his non-snapping hand in the neutral zone?
I could swear I saw this same situation and call happen earlier this year with a PHI tush push. It’s crazy to me a sideline official 25 yards away is supposed to judge whether that hand in the neutral zone belongs to the center or the guard.
