Referee assignments for the first week of preseason

  The long, brutal offseason is finally over, and a full slate of NFL preseason games begins this week. John Hussey, who was promoted from line judge to referee, will officiate the Jets-Lions game. Hussey replaces Bill Leavy, who is working as an officiating supervisor.

All times Eastern. Live games on NFL Network will be telecast on local stations only in both teams’ markets.
