  1. Lisa, I would not read too much into it. The NFL plans schedules well in advance and tend to give bad match-ups to a crew that might have had a lot of prime time or national audience games so that every crew will get its share of notable match-ups. For example, except for the Dallas and Detroit Thanksgiving games, I recall reading that the NFL tries to assign every crew 1 TNF game.

  2. Dear Mr. Corrente; Were you born in Dallas? Or do you hate Minnesota? Or are you just incompetent? Oh well-I am a Vikings fan, so am used to getting hosed by officials. Keep up the good work. By the way, most people who are incompetent in their profession get fired. You, Mr. Corrente, will probably get rewarded with a Super Bowl assignment.

  3. First Giants game for McAulay since the Beckham debacle last year. I think his crew has done pretty well this year. Let’s see what happens.

  4. The clip called on Dallas was not a clip, the official who called it obviously did not see the play from start to finish, I have been officiating for 51 years and we are always to be sure you see all of the play!

  5. So how does it work Tony? Does the crew split the take evenly? Is the Swiss bank account set up under a Nevada corporation owned by a Delaware corporation owned by a Florida corporation? Obviously no “Statement of Officers” filed so nobody really knows who owns the account. Clever… please give me the specifics… it’s sooo concealed. Dictating the outcome through uncalled penalties… I love the mechanics of the whole operation. “I didn’t see it” makes a wonderful patsy eh? Swept under the carpet in a days time and business as usual!!!

  6. As a long time multi-sport official, there are 2 rules that have been ingrained in to my “game mind” – Safety and Consistency. Obviously, this year especially, both the NCAA and NFL have lost their common sense on the first, and don’t even know or understand the second. I CAN say that if I was as incompetent as these so-called professionals, I wouldn’t be officiating even Jr. High games; let alone anything higher. Yes, those who don’t cannot possible understand what it means to be on the field or court. Unfortunately for the striped jackasses in the MN v DAL game, I DO understand. If Roger G had a spine, or the head of Officials had any balls at all, he’d come up with an ACTUAL solution to the piss-poor officiating all over the league (and includes NCAA), then they’d do the honorable thing and resign, give back their entire 2016 salary, and go away.

Here’s a heads up NFL: By the time you do figure it out, it will be too late. Just ask Hillary. We didn’t get a better or a good thing, but we certainly didn’t want same old, same old. As an official, I am embarrassed. If this is what it takes to be an NCAA or Pro official, I am WAAAAAAYYYY to competent to qualify.

  7. BTW: If Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Manning (among others) had been the QB, would there have been a call? At the very least, false start on LT. Try from the 13. How’d they miss that?

  8. Hochuli should not be off. He should be Cloned. Boger should be suspended until he goes thru some sort of Speech Therapy program. I still remember when he called the Flag a fag in a Raiders game vs the Broncos.
Gene Steratore should also be suspended because he has his mind on College Basketball. He should not be allowed to Ref College Basketball games during the NFL Season. Hire away some of the CFL Officials so we can hear them say Objectionable conduct.

  9. Does Mcauley’s crew think watching them do another poor job judging pass interference. is more exciting than watching stars like OBJ and Brown shine? Both teams were allowed to grab the receivers hands the whole game. The Giants lost the game straight up. We should all accept that. The referees made the game less entertaining. That issue should not be acceptable to anyone.

  10. God I hate watching Mcauly’s crew calling games. I remember them driving me up a wall earlier this year. Today I found out they were responsible for the PBJ / Norman game last. That sure figures. Ref’s like this have way too much impact on these games and after yesterday you can never expect them to be honest brokers in anymore Giant games. God help anyone else who got on that jerks bad side,
