Dean Blandino is the game supervisor, and he has responsibility for monitoring formations and blitzing that have special prohibitions for the exhibition contest. He will contact the referee if there are any persistent or egregious violations.

This is the first time that a replay official has been assigned to the Pro Bowl, as the replay rules have not been in effect for the all-star game. ESPN business reporter Darren Rovell says in a brand-name-dropping article that the league is testing the use of tablet computers in a game situation, compared to the bulky system now in place. Dale Hamer is the replay official, and Tom Chase is the replay assistant, who were assigned to Brad Allen’s crew this year.
