Raiders 4-for-4 on coach’s challenges, Giants have not thrown red flag this year

Published

on

Each team now has ten games on the record books, and the Raiders have shown a shrewd success in coach’s challenges this season. Coach Dennis Allen has challenged four plays this season and was correct on every one of them. Three other coaches have perfect records this season: the Cowboys’ Jason Garrett (2), the Vikings’ Leslie Frazier (2), and the Panthers’ Ron Rivera (1).

Giants coach Tom Coughlin has yet to cough up a red flag.

The Cardinals, Packers, and 49ers have called the most challenges this season with 7 each. The Cardinals also have the most reversals with 5, tied with the Broncos.

Coach’s challenge success rates through Week 11

For reference, the percentage of calls challenged by the replay officials is shown. Obviously, the replay official does not lose a challenge or a timeout with an incorrect challenge, so his percentage tends to be low. Teams below the red line on the chart have a success rate below 50 percent. The Giants are not listed, as they have not had any coach’s challenges.
