I have hated Jeff Triplette for a long time. His bumbling speech was what called my attention to him. It was quite a while ago, somewhere between 5-10 years ago. He was calling a simple penalty and could barely stammer out an explanation as he fought with himself on whether or not to call the intercepting team the offense or defense. I think he ended up calling the penalty on "the uh ... intercepting...uh defender." Just atrocious.

Anyway on this play you mentioned, I was really surprised he remembered to set the clock back since it was an incomplete pass.

Also in this game there was a delay of game penalty called on Brady even though there were two seconds on the play clock. If it was called on a visiting team in that scenario, I might be willing to entertain the idea of the home team messing with the clocks.
